VISIT
Since NIROX’ beginnings in 2006, we continue to create and share an atmosphere that empowers, inspires and becalms artists; where visitors continue to be nourished with art in nature.
NIROX hosts an active concert, performance and exhibition program of diverse genres; jazz, blues, folk, classical, contemporary, indigenous, opera, new music, live & performance arts. More information on the program here.

‘and then there was FIRE’
The restaurant, ‘And then there was Fire...’ is open to the public. Come and share Bernardo and Manu’s passion for food and the exulted life we hope to bring to South Africans and visitors from afar. Restaurant patrons that have pre-booked their seat at 'And then...' are eligible for a reduced park entrance fee of R70.
As part of a +1000 hectare Nature Reserve NIROX is home to a diverse family of animals. The reserve is a rehabilitation and rewilding centre for distressed wild animals. So the occupants can occassionally be uncharacteristically friendly. You will meet some when you visit. They are residents. You are in their home. Let’s respect it so!
Please don’t feed them.
On these pages we will post images and stories about these animal friends. If you encounter them and would like to share any images or stories please do.
